As part of my duties at NYU Steinhardt, I have been asked to develop a communication strategy to increase and improve yield for accepted students. In a nutshell, once students are accepted into an academic program, there is a whole other round of marketing to them so that they will select OUR program instead of one of the other’s into which they were (likely) accepted. In order to help the Dean’s and Administration at NYU understand the communication flow, I created this flowchart which follows a student’s communication cycle after they have been accepted into a graduate program.
